Ron Hicks

Bio

Coach Ronald Hicks brings over two decades of coaching experience at the youth and high school levels across the DMV area. A former linebacker at Morgan State University (1993–1998), he contributed on special teams and earned MEAC Academic Team honors three times. Prior to college, he was a standout at Good Counsel High School, earning WCAC 1st Team, Montgomery County 1st Team, and All-Met Honorable Mention honors.

Since 2000, Coach Hicks has held key coaching roles including Offensive and Defensive Coordinator, JV Head Coach and QB coach at programs such as South Lakes, Parkdale, Laurel, and Good Counsel. He has also coached in respected youth leagues including Unity Thunder, Chantilly Youth, Reston Youth, and Virginia Academy. His coaching emphasizes player development, leadership, and fundamentals.

Coach Hicks holds degrees from Morgan State University and Capital Technical University.
